Jamila Cosmetics is a holding company for Vanda Cosmetic products. They launched affordable skincare products within the lower LSM markets in South Africa with a focus on superior quality at an affordable price. The strategy for the art direction of the products was to keep it simplistic and clean like Western high end products are usually photographed, but add something extra to emphasize their use of natural ingredients like fruits, flavours and plants. The look and feel conveys a crisp and fresh feeling, the same feeling consumers will experience on their skin when using the products.
